Step 1: The 2 High Fat Prep Days
Begin using supplements and eat a high-fat diet (including nuts, fish, coconut, etc.) for 2 days to fill up the body’s fat reserves. You will gain 3-5 lbs., but this is part of the plan.
Step 2: Low Calorie Diet
Eat a specific low calorie diet, combined with daily supplements, for a minimum of 3 weeks to 3 months. At 3 months, it is time to come off the program, allow your body time to get back to homeostasis at your weight (for at least 3 weeks), and then may resume starting with the Pre-Week again. You will NOT feel hungry during this phase, despite the low calorie intake. However, you must strictly follow the food plan and take the supplements as directed for maximum effectiveness.
Step 3: The 2 Low Cal Exit Days
Continue with the low calorie diet for 3 days, but stop taking the supplements.
Step 4: Transition
It takes a minimum of 3 weeks for your body to adjust, stabilize your blood sugar levels, and “solidify” your new weight. Supplements are not required, but you must do the following:
- Weigh yourself every day.
- Eat until you’re satisfied, not stuffed.
- Don’t consume carbs, sugar, or alcohol.
